
This interpretive Scheme promotes quality, excellence, and education for all involved in imaging, assessing, and reporting Diagnostic Ultrastructural Pathology. The Scheme provides superior, outstanding, representative digital Electron Microscopy (EM) examples, enabling enhanced individual and professional feedback to support and improve Continuing Professional Development (CPD), education, and excellence in practice.

Rationale
Digital images alongside clinical information and results of other diagnostic techniques will be provided for each case. Participants will answer questions provided with the images in each case, for diagnostic interpretation. There will also be an opportunity to suggest a specific diagnosis having considered the ultrastructural features seen and the clinical / other diagnostic information provided. Participants are scored for each correctly answered question and will be required to achieve a result of 80% or higher on each case attempted to receive a Pass.

Each circulation comprises cases of digitised images for education and learning.
