Staining Criteria Handbook available in Members' Area

Rationale

The Neuropathology scheme evaluates specialised methods by distributing known target material on a rotational basis. Each participant receives 2 unstained sections (A & B) to assess the sensitivity and specificity of their techniques. Stain A uses a routine Cellular Pathology method, while stain B uses a specialist Neuropathological method, which may include immunohistochemical techniques if preferred by the organisation.

Submission

1 of each of the 2 provided A and B slides is stained using the specified specialist stains, as outlined in the delivery letter.
